Sorority wins award for online advisor training program

Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority recently announced their online Collegiate Advisor Development Program received the 2007 Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA) Excellence in Education Award.

Since September 2006, Gamma Phi Beta has used Axio Learning to deliver the program, which is the first online training tool developed by a greek organization. Their Axio instance is available to more than 500 of the sorority's collegiate advisors.

"We are delighted to have our online advisor training program honored with the 2007 AFA Excellence in Education Award," said Linda Johnson, president of Gamma Phi Beta International. "This program delivers innovative education and support to our collegiate advisors, who play a vital role in ensuring a positive Gamma Phi Beta experience for our collegiate members."
