Technical Details

The Axio LMS is currently only available as a hosted solution based on J2EE technology and makes use of an Oracle DBMS and the Jboss application server. Portlets that are provided are all JSR 168 compatible. There are customizable security access levels and we use HTTPS in all user interfaces. We can also provide customized connectors - interfaces to your authentication system and interfaces to your student system to automate roster management. We also provide the support necessary to make Axio Learning a uniform and secure way for students to explore course content and for instructors to create and manage courses online. Instance set up can be accomplished in a very short time, usually a matter of days, depending on the level of customized integration that is needed to any existing systems.
